DOWN THE LIDO

Starting with the striking archive picture of Whipps Cross Lido in Walthamstow from 1960, I added a touch of glamour with a line of palm trees and a splash of colour with the beautiful flamingo.

This release is an edition of 17 unique, completely hand-made pieces using acrylic and spray paints, silver-leaf and screen printing, breathing new life into the amazing diver in that picture.
