Peace

I grew-up just outside of Brighton (Burgess Hill actually but no ones heard of that) and have always had a fascination with the place. Every year I am determined to create a new Brighton themed artwork and this is my latest. Based on original photography of the Peace Statue on Hove seafront, the bright colours and palm trees bring a touch glamour and warmth to this seaside town.

The framed original (43cm x 53cm) was created using acrylic and spray paints, collaged graph paper and original photography screen printed on to a 8mm plywood board.
