011 Bleak Dog Walk

I live very close to open farmland in Berkhamsted in the UK.  This is very useful if you have a big dog that needs two long walks everyday.  In the summer it’s a wonderful thing to do. In the winter it’s dark and bleak as hell.  And very slippy.  This photo was a moment of hope on a dark grey morning.  The shape of the reflection conveniently mirroring the shape of the branches of the tree. What more is there to say?

Made using original photography giclée printed on to Awagami Unryu Thin paper and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Metallic paper assembled on a mounted wooden panel with layers of acrylic paint and spray paint.
