Almond blossom taken in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. One of two artworks based on these beautiful flowers. See 008 White Blossom. I love the contrast of the pink flowers against the bright blue sky. The borders and patterns almost give the artwork a retro 1970s Japanese vibe but making this quite a striking and unique artwork.
Made using original photography giclée printed on to Hahnemuhle Daguerre poly-cotton canvas, Awagami Unryu Thin paper and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Metallic paper assembled on a mounted wooden panel with layers of acrylic paint, spray paint and graph paper.
