010 Your Move

I’ve had a long fascination with LA.  I still do but I’m too scared to visit at the moment.  The image behind the blur is a defunct cinema or nightclub.  It’s the colours that kept bringing me back and the blur takes a mundane scene taken out of the window of a taxi into a dynamic snap shot  in time.  I added the Leopard from a vintage store in Paris.  The Leopard is roaring coloured dots commenting on the speed of the motion. At least that is what he is saying in my head.  What is he saying to you? 

Made using original photography giclée printed on to Hahnemuhle Daguerre poly-cotton canvas, Awagami Unryu Thin paper and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Metallic paper assembled on a mounted wooden panel with layers of acrylic paint, spray paint and screen printing.
